About Me

Hello! I'm Joseph Gorak, a graduate student at Aberystwyth University currently pursuing a master's degree in advanced computer science. My primary interests lie in web and mobile development, but I also enjoy exploring data science and machine learning. I see each day as an opportunity to learn something new and sharpen my development skills. I've built a range of projects ranging from responsive web applications to algorithm based games. These hands-on experiences have helped me grow as both a developer and a problem-solver. I bring a strong work ethic from my years of part-time work and academics, where I value teamwork, resilience, and staying adaptable under pressure.

From academic projects, I've often found myself naturally stepping into leadership roles. I enjoy guiding teams toward a shared goal and creating an environment where everyone contributes their strengths Outside of tech, I'm passionate about learning from different cultures, connecting with people, and hearing their stories. I enjoy being in nature which reflects hiking, taking photos, and supporting sustainability efforts that contribute to a better future for our planet.
